Podiatrists are health care professionals that focus on diagnosis and treatment of abnormalities occuring in the foot and lower limb.
Podiatrists also treat problems higher in the body such as the knee, hips and lower back that come about as the result of a foot problem.
Cheylee smith obtained her bachelors in podiatry in 2004, where she came top of her class. She is registered with the Health Professions Council and a member of the Podiatry Association of South Africa. Being involved in various publications, she has written a number of articles for the Longevity Magazine. Having practised in the Fourways area since the year 2005, Cheylee Smith is now well settled in her field and was invited to join the multidisciplinary team in 2010 by the Life Hospital Group in Fourways.
Cheylee Smith is a passionate person; this is the motivational force that makes her achieve the very best results for her patients. Her areas of specialisation include paediatrics, corrective foot supports, nail surgery, sports injuries and dermatological conditions.
